JobPaperPrivacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
JobPaper is a ChatGPT plugin that turns a contractor’s notes and photos into estimates, change orders, and job reports. This policy explains what JobPaper handles, why, and for how long. It is short because JobPaper keeps very little.
What JobPaper handles

JobPaper does not collect your precise location, contacts, conversation history, or payment information, and does not use cookies or trackers in the plugin.
Who receives it
Nobody. JobPaper does not sell, rent, or share your data, and does not use it for advertising or to train models. Business settings are stored with our hosting and database providers only to run the service. ChatGPT itself is operated by OpenAI under OpenAI’s own privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Job text and photos are not retained. Business settings are kept until you clear them in JobPaper’s plugin settings or ask us to delete them at support@jobpaperapp.com; we delete them within 30 days of a request. Removing the plugin stops all processing.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Settings are stored encrypted at rest by our database provider, keyed by a hashed identifier.
Children
JobPaper is a business tool and isn’t directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
